It was a chilly night, but that didn’t stop hundreds of people from venturing out to see the Christmas parade and tree lighting in the town square and stopping in to the History Center to see the Bowdish trains running.
The Bowdish crew delivered an exciting presentation of holiday trains and decor, including the always-popular Polar Express and Thomas the Tank Engine trains. The miniatures displays included ice skaters whirling around frozen ponds, and Santa was spotted by many of the keen-eyed visitors.
Kids made a stop in the Kids Gallery to decorate a train ornament and place it on the Christmas tree before heading back downstairs to grab a sweet treat and take a festive photo at the selfie station.
Holiday decor will be up throughout the museum and in the front window displays until the end of the year. The Bowdish trains will run again in December (date to be determined).
Thanks to all the volunteers who made the night special for kids of all ages!
