History Happening, the Jefferson County Historical Society’s new YouTube channel, is a Video Project funded by PA Humanities, their partner, Spring Point Partners, and the National Endowment for the Humanities that aims to teach local history through social media.
This project dives into the rich tapestry of Jefferson County, Pennsylvania—where every story of our past connects to our lives today. From untold tales of the county’s founding days to the surprising ways our heritage shapes our modern community, “History Happening” brings you history as you’ve never seen it before as it uncovers the stories, people, and events that have shaped the county to discover how our past is alive and thriving in the present.
