Young and Old Kids Alike: Come let the magic of the old-fashioned Bowdish Christmas Show light up your night! Watch your children’s and grand-children’s eyes light up in awe and smiles abound. This was what an old-fashioned Christmas meant to Charlie Bowdish, creator of the miniature models. Come experience a Holiday Family Tradition and the magic of the Bowdish Show
For 105 years this Charles Bowdish Miniatures Diorama has enchanted kids of all ages. Over 100 animations – both people and their pets – are scattered among the 50+ mini-buildings created from Jefferson County’s history. Add to that the Model R.R. with 6 trains running different directions on multiple tracks, whistling down the trestles and smoking through the tunnels of Brookville. Animated miniature lumberjacks and coal miners, dancers in the ballroom of McCracken Hall, Hot Air Balloons, the Moonlight Drive-In, Merry-Go-Round, Ball Field – even Punxsy Phil! … How many can you spot?
Add to that: Thomas the Tank Engine Train, Ice Skating Rink with Animated Skaters and Santa’s Polar Express! What an Enchanted Fairy-Tale of a Show! Bring the kids, the grandkids and the grandparents, and your nostalgia!!!
