Common Questions with Answers

Question: Bus Parking
Answer: Bus Parking is availabe at the rear of the building.  Please contact us in advance to make sure we have the space reserved.


Question: Food and Beverages
Answer: Food and beverages are prohibited in the museum and research area at any time.


Question: Handicap Access
Answer: The first floor is wheelchair accessable from the Main Street Entrance.  
The second Floor (Including the Bowdish Model Railroad and meeting room) is accessible using the metal rampway at the rear of the building.


Question: How do I become a member?
Answer: We have a .pdf membership application form: Membership Form
Support the History Center by becoming a member today.


Question: Parking
Answer: Easy access is from the metered Main Streeet parking.  There is limited free parking in the rear of the building.


Question: Smoking
Answer: The Jefferson County History Center is a Non-Smoking facility.


Question: What hours are you open?
Answer: Our hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 12 pm - 5 pm.
